The Vermont High School Rodeo Association (VTHSRA) is dedicated to upholding the traditions, values, and standards set forth by the National High School Rodeo Association. Our mission is to promote the sport of rodeo across the state of Vermont, giving junior high and high school students the opportunity to compete, grow, and shine on a statewide and national stage.
We believe rodeo is more than competition—it is a way to build character, responsibility, and leadership. Through our events, we foster sportsmanship, horsemanship, and integrity, ensuring that every participant represents the highest standards of conduct.

Our vision is to grow interest in rodeo among Vermont youth, creating a community where grit, determination, and responsibility thrive. By blending tradition with opportunity, VTHSRA empowers the next generation of cowboys and cowgirls to succeed—in the arena, in the classroom, and in life.
