VTHSRA Queen

The Vermont High School Rodeo Association (VTHSRA) Queen serves as an ambassador for VTHSRA, its members, and the sport of rodeo across Vermont and beyond. She represents the organization with pride, professionalism, and sportsmanship at rodeos, community events, and public appearances throughout her reign.

The VTHSRA Queen is a role model for youth rodeo athletes and a visible representative of the values of VTHSRA. She embodies leadership, respect, responsibility, and a strong work ethic—both in and out of the arena. The Queen helps promote rodeo traditions while supporting the growth and visibility of high school rodeo in Vermont.

What the VTHSRA Queen Does

The VTHSRA Queen’s responsibilities may include:

  • Representing VTHSRA at rodeos, clinics, meetings, sponsor events, and community functions

  • Promoting VTHSRA through public appearances, social media, and outreach efforts

  • Supporting contestants by encouraging sportsmanship, positivity, and unity among members

  • Assisting with events such as award ceremonies, opening ceremonies, parades, and special activities

  • Serving as a youth ambassador by engaging with sponsors, families, and the public to share the mission of VTHSRA

  • Upholding western values and rodeo tradition through appropriate conduct, attire, and professionalism

The Role’s Impact

The VTHSRA Queen plays an important role in strengthening relationships between VTHSRA, its sponsors, venues, and the broader community. Through her involvement, she helps bring positive attention to Vermont rodeo youth and contributes to building a strong, supportive rodeo community.
